Welcome to Smart Investing AI, My name is Albert Nieves and here is my story. I started in the finance world in 2014, I realized immediately when it comes to investing through an employer/retirement you are required to select investments or funds that you barely have no information on or control over. The worst part is, someone else manages your money while Wall Street collects fees on your account with mediocre returns even when your account declines for the year Wall Street always collects. I decided to take matters into my own hands and do it myself….yes, research the markets all by myself! From fundamentals, to technicals, to quants, to strategies, to forecasting, to hedging, to portfolio management, I’ve got many skills required to cover the market in it’s entirety. 

I have challenged myself year after year just to prove to myself that the finance world is suited for me. I have entered stock picking contests online long before Wall Street copy and pasted from me. I even started a Youtube channel to keep track of important highlights throughout my successful career. 

In 2020, I made a decision to stop for a while because I had to raise a family. I still outperformed the market with double digits but not as much of the margin I needed to. I even recommended Gold as a hedge in 2020 because of all the reckless government spending that brought the markets back to life that April. I had my fair share of being ridiculed online that year because other sectors outperformed and even bitcoin had a breakout ending year. Guess what, that didn’t bother me and I kept pushing forward. 

In 2021, I got extremely active on Youtube and even shared some of my models that grabbed the attention of Bloomberg TV on Youtube. I’ve shared my highly accurate recession indicator with the inverted yield curve, I pioneered the correlation method, scenario analysis, record keeping logs within context, and a few other innovative solutions that really hasn’t been fully explained for full access or usage.

By 2025, I am still silently partnered with Bloomberg TV as a so called Markets Specialist that has severely outperformed firms, hedge funds, investment banks, etc. based on my solo research that has put me into a category all on my own as a super elite in the finance world.
